A leading renewable energy business that is going through an exciting period of growth and transition. Looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team on a 2-month contract, providing backfill support while the existing AP team focuses on bringing a new portfolio of work into the finance function.

About Our Client

This role is within the property industry and based in London.

Job Description

  • Processing and matching supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Managing POs and goods received / invoice matching
  • Processing invoices through Sage X3
  • Supporting supplier payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing supplier and internal queries
  • Supporting the AP inbox and supplier set-up
  • Helping clear outstanding invoices and transactions
  • Assisting with reconciliations and month-end activities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable should have:

  • Strong Accounts Payable / Purchase-to-Pay experience
  • Proven experience working in a high-volume transactional environment
  • Good understanding of PO, goods received and invoice matching
  • Experience with payment runs and supplier reconciliations
  • Previous Sage X3 experience - highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
  • Good Excel skills
