A growing firm of chartered accountants based in Tiverton has a requirement for an Accounts Technician or Assistant Accountant to join their team within a varied role providing services across accounts, tax, VAT, bookkeeping and progressing in this business with increasing responsibility, client contact and development on offer.
  • Accounts Assistant / AAT Technician to join an expanding chartered accountants.
  • Support, training, skill development and progression on offer in a growing firm.

You will be joining a team cultured environment with support and training for those pursuing qualifications and looking to progress technically in their careers. The firm uses Digita, Xero, Quickbooks and wider suite of online accounting software.

Job Description

Joining as an Accounts Technician or Assistant Accountant based from the firms Tiverton offices you will take responsibility for the hands on preparation of accounts, tax and wider ranging responsibilities for a mixed and varied client base of primarily limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. There will be study support on offer for those pursuing qualifications, or you can look to build on experience only. There will be increasing responsibility on offer, developing your technical accounting and potential to progress within the team and firm.

The Successful Applicant

You may be part or fully AAT qualified, or you may ACA/ACCA studying with a career background preparing accounts/tax etc within accountancy practice, working with ide ranging sole trader, partnership and limited company clients. You will have developed your career to around the Accounts Technician or Assistant Accountant levels and will have a career background within accountancy practice so far and be looking to join a growing, successful firm of accountants where you can see the chance to develop your career within a forward moving firm of accountants
