As an Area Planner in London, you'll manage schedules and resources to keep operations running smoothly in the not-for-profit sector. Your role will help ensure the efficient delivery of services by coordinating tasks and resolving scheduling challenges.

Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage schedules to optimise resource allocation and service delivery.
  • Monitor and update planning systems to reflect current and future needs.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure tasks are completed as planned.
  • Address scheduling conflicts and find timely solutions.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on planning outcomes and adjustments.
  • Support the team in achieving operational targets efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all planning activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align planning with organisational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Area Planner should have:

  • Experience in planning or scheduling roles, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using planning and scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • An eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues.

What's on Offer

  • An hourly rate of £15.00 - £16.84, dependent on the level of experience.
  • A temporary position with an opportunity to go permanent with a mix of office and home working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).
