Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
  • Reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes within the finance team.
  • Maintain and update financial systems and databases.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
  • Assisting with P&L analysis.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Managing fixed asset, prepayment and accrual journals.
  • Provide support in audits and compliance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Assisting the wider finance team.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

  • A strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
  • Relevant qualifications/experience in accounting or finance.
