Based in Southampton, who work closely with clients across a wide range of sectors, combining local knowledge with the resources and expertise of a leading national firm.Job DescriptionThe key duties of the Audit & Assurance Senior will be:Lead audit assignments, ensuring all sections are completed to a high standard from planning to completion.Review the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.Identify and resolve any issues that arise during audits, ensuring compliance with UK practice standards.Communicate effectively with clients, building strong working relationships and addressing their queries.Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional client service.Prepare accurate and detailed audit documentation for review by senior management.Support the identification of risks and implement appropriate controls during audit engagements.Stay up to date with changes in audit regulations and professional standards.The Successful ApplicantA successful Audit & Assurance Senior should have:ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification, or be within 12 months of qualification.Experience in delivering audit assignments within a UK practice environment.Confidence in managing audit sections independently, from planning through to completion.Strong ability to review and provide feedback on the work of junior team members.Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.What's on OfferTHe Audit & Assurance Senior will come with:A salary dependent on the level of experience, ranging from £40,000 to £50,000.A permanent position in a professional services organisation based in Southampton.If you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
