Job Description

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring their development and growth.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards and internal procedures.
  • Prepare and review audit reports, providing clear and concise recommendations.
  • Assist in identifying business development opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless service to clients.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in professional services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience managing audit engagements within professional services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Leadership abilities to guide and develop team members effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
