Job Description

  • Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments for a wide range of clients within various industries.
  • Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide constructive recommendations to clients.
  • Supervise and support junior team members, providing guidance and development opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address queries and provide updates.
  • Ensure all audit work is completed within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's audit processes and methodologies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Senior should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting, such as ACA or ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in audit practices within the professional services industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
