Job Description

  • Support the design and development of the Target Operating Model (TOM) across multiple business functions.
  • Help define and maintain the Business Architecture framework, including Business capabilities, Operating models, Value streams, Business services and Customer journeys
  • Document and assess current-state processes and operating models to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop future-state business designs aligned to organisational strategy.
  • Define and track business outcomes through KPIs, OKRs, SLAs and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Support benefits realisation activities, ensuring transformation initiatives deliver measurable value.
  • Evaluate the impact of change initiatives on people, processes, technology, data and organisational structures.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align business, technology and data strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements, challenge assumptions and drive consensus.
  • Support governance forums and decision-making processes relating to business architecture and operating model design.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Architect should have:

  • Experience working within Business Architecture, Operating Model Design, Business Transformation or Strategy functions.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and process mapping.
  • Experience assessing business impacts and translating strategic objectives into practical operating models.
  • Experience within banking, financial services or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation or enterprise-wide change programmes.
  • Exposure to process improvement, service management or business process optimisation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of business architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
