Their UK and Ireland operations distribute a wide portfolio of high‑performing confectionery products through retail, wholesale and convenience channels

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients within the business services sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

Commercial Delivery and Market Execution

· Achieve and exceed sales, distribution, and visibility targets within assigned territories.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners, managers, buyers, and wholesale partners.

· Identify and secure new business opportunities across convenience, forecourt, symbol groups, and independent retail.

· Deliver flawless execution of brand plans, promotional activity, and new product launches.

· Ensure best‑in‑class merchandising, POS placement, and planogram compliance.

Customer and Channel Development

· Develop compelling selling stories and activation plans tailored to key customers.

· Work closely with wholesale partners to drive stock availability, visibility, and sell‑through.

· Support joint business planning with regional wholesalers and retail groups.

· Provide regular insights to inform channel strategy, pricing, and promotional planning.

Operational Excellence

· Maintain accurate records of call cycles, store visits, sales performance, and distribution gains.

· Work with supply chain and operations teams to support efficient stock flow and store fulfilment.

· Track competitor activity and provide actionable reporting.

· Support forecasting accuracy through feedback on customer trends and demand patterns.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

· Contribute to national commercial initiatives within the Irish team.

· Partner with marketing teams to support brand activations, sampling, and seasonal campaigns.

· Collaborate with finance and commercial leadership to ensure investments deliver strong ROI.
