Job Description

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations.
  • Monitor market trends to identify potential areas for expansion.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients effectively.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and progress.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in business development, new business generation or B2B sales within an engineering-related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing, engineered products, construction systems or architectural metalwork.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines, sales activity, KPIs and forecasts.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and delivering results.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Knowledge of market trends in the industrial or manufacturing industry.
