Job Description

  • Maintain accurate financial records for a designated portfolio of properties.
  • Prepare and review client reports, including income and expenditure statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Handle client queries and provide clear and professional communication.
  • Monitor and manage service charge budgets and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with property managers to ensure financial processes align with operational needs.
  • Process payments and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Client Accountant should have:

  • Proven experience in property accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of service charge accounting and regulations.
  • Previous experience using QUBE essential.
  • Experience managing a commercial property portfolio.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to challenges.
