Job DescriptionAs a Clinical Negligence Associate your key responsibilities will include:To run a caseload of clinical negligence files to include:Reviewing Insurance Policies and advising on coverageDrafting reportsInterviewing witnessesDrafting witness statementsInstructing expertsInstructing counselAttend Court for Case Management Conferences and Application HearingsAdvising on quantum and negotiating settlements.Holding conferences with CounselPreparing for and attending trials and mediationsAdditional duties:Draft articles for clients on changes to the lawGive client training and presentationsBuild and maintain client and internal relationships, adhering to both internal and external operating proceduresContribute to business development by seek new business opportunitiesHaving a wider contribution to the Health business group and wider Firm by continually seeking ways to improveSupervision of colleagues work and supporting development of the team by appropriate delegation and coachingThe Successful ApplicantA successful Clinical Negligence Associate should have ideally 1-4PQE in defendant or claimant clinical negligence work.
