Job Description

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor will be:* Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution

* Advising clients on contractual disputes, shareholder disputes and IT related disputes

* Acting for a broad range of businesses across sectors including technology and manufacturing

* Delivering commercially focused legal advice and strategic solutions

* Working with Partners on complex and high value disputes

* Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team

* Building and maintaining strong client relationships

* Identifying opportunities to develop existing client accounts

* Taking a role in networking, marketing and business development activities

The Successful Applicant

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor should be:* A solicitor with approximately 6 to 10 years' PQE in commercial litigation

* Experienced in handling contractual disputes, shareholder disputes and commercial disputes independently

* Able to manage a caseload with minimal supervision

* Comfortable developing junior team members

* Commercially aware with strong client relationship management skills

* A track record in business development activities

* An excellent communicator with strong technical and drafting skills
