Job Description

The Commercial Property Solicitor will be:

  1. Advising on acquisitions, disposals, leases, and site assembly
  2. Acting on commercial property development projects and funding structures
  3. Working with clients across retail, industrial, office, mixed use and corporate occupiers
  4. Negotiating and drafting contracts, lease documentation, licences, option agreements
  5. Managing relationships with clients
  6. Supervising junior staff or paralegals (as required)
  7. Supporting business development and contributing to growth of the property team



The Successful Applicant

The Commercial Property Solicitor should be / have

  • A solicitor ideally with 2-6 years PQE in commercial property work
  • Experienced across development, investment and occupier property transactions
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and due diligence skills
  • Comfortable managing your own work and dealing directly with clients
  • Able to work collaboratively in a growing team
  • Commercially minded, with good attention to risk and practical solutions
  • Ties to Leeds
