Job Description

The Commercial Property / Real Estate Paralegal will be:

  • Assisting fee earners with a wide range of commercial property and real estate matters.
  • Assisting with client onboarding, due diligence and anti-money laundering procedures.
  • Drafting, amending and collating legal documents, correspondence and transaction-related paperwork.
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other third parties via telephone, email and in person.
  • Assisting with post-completion matters, file management, document management systems and file closure processes.

The Successful Applicant

The Commercial Property / Real Estate Paralegal should be:

  • A law graduate or an experienced paralegal with a background in commercial property or real estate.
  • Experienced in assisting fee earners within a busy legal environment.
  • Highly organised with strong IT and document management system skills.
  • Clear communication with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledgeable in client due diligence and anti-money laundering procedures.
  • Strong capabilities in numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiar with Solicitors Accounts Rules and client ledger processes, ideally.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
