The role involves:Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.Manage a team of three risk & compliance professionalsLead on Ofgem complianceDevelop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.Monitor and assess compliance risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them.Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance-related matters.Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and legislative changes in Energy & Natural Resources.Collaborate with legal and operational teams to address compliance issues effectively.Prepare and deliver compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.The Successful ApplicantA successful Compliance Manager in Energy should have:A strong educational background in law, business, or a related field.Proven expertise in compliance within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.Exceptional organisational and analytical skills to manage compliance processes effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £90,000 per annum.10% performance-based bonus.Generous pension scheme with 6% employee contributions matched at 12% by the employer.Health insurance for the entire family.Opportunities for professional growth within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.Supportive and structured work environment in LeedsHybrid working - 2 days a week in the officeThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager to make a meaningful impact.
