Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including commercial agreements, supplier arrangements, marketing services agreements, media buying, sponsorships, and digital partnerships.
  • Advise the business on advertising, marketing, and digital law, including promotions, influencer agreements, brand partnerships, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks, ensuring adherence to internal policies and applicable laws.
  • Support the business on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, brand protection, and licensing.
  • Advise on data protection and privacy, including GDPR compliance, data usage in marketing and digital platforms, and relationships with third-party processors.
  • Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments relevant to advertising, digital media, consumer law.



The Successful Applicant

The successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • Professional legal qualification, such as a solicitor or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in corporate and commercial law.
  • Experience working within or advising the FMCG industry is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
