This role sits at the intersection of editorial storytelling, search (SEO + AEO), and demand generation. You'll to shape the content strategy, define their voice in the market, and create high quality content that drives both visibility and pipeline.

About Our Client

The client are VC backed AI business on a global scale up. They are looking to hire a Content Marketing Manager into their team in London. This is a pivotal hire for their marketing team.

You'll define and write how the brand show up across blog, long-form content, and social. This role exists to strengthen the thinking, quality, and impact of their content, not just increase output.

Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Content Marketing Manager:

  • Content strategy & planning
  • Own the content roadmap across blog, ebooks/reports, and social
  • Define content themes aligned to company priorities, product positioning, and demand generation goals
  • Identify high-impact opportunities across SEO, AEO, and LLM-driven discovery
  • Ensure content is mapped to the funnel (awareness → consideration → conversion) Writing & editorial execution (hands-on)
  • Write high-quality content across formats: blog posts, ebooks, guides, reports, thought leadership, and social content
  • Adapt tone, structure, and format depending on channel and audience
  • Maintain a high editorial bar with clear, well-structured, and engaging writing Search & performance (SEO, AEO, LLMs)
  • Create content designed to perform across traditional search, answer engines, and LLM platforms
  • Structure content for discoverability and retrieval
  • Track performance and continuously optimise content based on data Thought leadership & narrative development
  • Translate product capabilities, customer insights, and market trends into clear, compelling narratives
  • Develop strong points of view on the category and where it's going
  • Partner with internal SMEs and leadership to shape ideas into content Distribution & amplification
  • Ensure content reaches the right audience through organic social, internal amplification, and repurposing
  • Focus on distribution and impact, not just publishing Cross-functional collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to align content with business priorities
  • Partner with design and growth teams to bring content to life across formats
  • Present ideas clearly and build alignment on direction and priorities



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate:

  • 5-8+ years experience in content marketing, editorial, or related roles (ideally in B2B SaaS or AI)
  • Exceptional writing ability across long-form and short-form content
  • Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, and LLM-driven discovery
  • Proven ability to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives
  • Experience owning content end-to-end: strategy, creation, distribution, and optimisation
  • Confident communicator who can explain the reasoning behind content decisions
  • IT techology, AI experience required
