Job Description

  • Provide legal advice on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
  • Conduct due diligence and identify potential legal risks.
  • Support clients in regulatory compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide holistic legal solutions.
  • Stay updated on changes in corporate law and advise clients accordingly.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and meetings with stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and reliable service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Solicitor should have:

  • A qualified solicitor with 3 to 8 pqe specialising in corporate law.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experienced in corporate transactional work, including M&A and corporate finance matters.
  • Commercially aware with strong client relationship skills.
  • Able to manage complex matters and work effectively within a collaborative team.
  • Keen to develop their career within a leading corporate practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
