Job Description

What the Assistant Credit Controller will be doing:

  • End-to-End Ledger Management: Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, from generating invoices and statements to performing complex reconciliations and maintaining system accuracy.
  • Debt Recovery & Dispute Resolution: Drive timely collections by resolving billing queries and providing management with detailed reporting on aged debtors and overdue accounts.
  • Operational Excellence: Work with internal teams to streamline financial operations and implement process improvements within the credit control function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous experience in credit control and chasing small businesses for debt payments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and able to create VLOOKUPS and Pivot tables
  • Good communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience of public sector financial processes is desirable.
