Job Description

  • Manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding balances.
  • Monitor and assess credit risks, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate with clients to follow up on overdue invoices and payment plans.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate credit control reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or account queries.
  • Assist with setting up new customer accounts, including credit checks.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Experience in credit control or a similar accounting role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing workloads.
  • Knowledge of credit risk assessment and collections processes.
