Job Description

  • Evaluate and monitor credit risk for a portfolio of financial products and clients.
  • Develop and implement credit risk policies and frameworks.
  • Conduct detailed credit analysis to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Compile, analyse, and present portfolio‑level credit risk MI, including exposures, concentrations, trends, and early warning indicators.
  • Monitor compliance with the bank's credit risk policies, procedures, and approval authorities.
  • Monitor the quality and timeliness of credit applications submitted by the business.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks on credit systems to ensure accuracy of key fields (ratings, limits, collateral, covenants, review dates, etc.).

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Risk Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of credit risk principles and practices within banking and financial services.
  • Experience in assessing and managing credit risk in the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in analysing financial statements and credit data.
