The company is based in Chesterfield and prides itself on fostering a professional and supportive work environment.Job Description* Support the Senior Designer in creating apparel collections from concept to completion.* Mentor and support Junior Designers.* Creation of detailed design packs and other materials to aid in smooth handover to the Development Team.* Attend fittings with the Senior Designer and collaborate closely with the Development Team to ensure design integrity from initial concept through to finished product.* Maintain key documents such as collection overviews, performance reviews and sourcing packs in coordination with the Junior Designer.* Work with the Senior Designers to ensure the global calendar is followed & deadlines are met.* Assist Senior Designer in presenting seasonal collections to the Sales team.The Successful ApplicantA successful Designer - Mid Level - Sweats / Jersey should have:Proven experience in designing sweats and jersey products within the fashion industry.Strong knowledge of design software and technical sketching.An understanding of current fashion trends and customer preferences.Excellent attention to detail and creative vision.Good communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.What's on OfferSalary dependent on the level of experience,Free ParkingDiscount on products25 days holiday plus 8 Bank HolidayWorking hours 9-5Health Care after qualifying service lengthIf you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
