Having experienced significant expansion in recent years, they are now entering an exciting phase of strategic growth, with further development projects, new site openings and organisational transformation initiatives planned for the coming years.Job DescriptionMonitor budgets and oversee resource allocation for operational activities.Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Director of HR & Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across HR, estates, IT and business operations.Key responsibilities will include:Leading the delivery of the organisation's people, estates and digital strategies.Driving organisational growth projects, including onboarding new sites and supporting expansion initiatives.Providing leadership to HR, IT and operational teams, developing capability and fostering a high-performance culture.Overseeing estates and facilities management to ensure safe, compliant and effective environments.Leading organisational change and continuous improvement programmes.Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory, governance, health & safety and operational requirements.Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, trustees, leaders and external partners.Contributing as a key member of the executive leadership team and helping shape long-term organisational strategy.The Successful ApplicantA successful Director of HR & Operations will demonstrate:Proven experience leading operational functions at a strategic level.Strong HR leadership experience, alongside exposure to estates, facilities, IT or business operations.A track record of delivering organisational growth, transformation or large-scale projects.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at board and executive level.Strong leadership capability, with experience developing high-performing teams.Commercial acumen combined with a people-focused approach.The confidence to operate autonomously and drive initiatives forward in a fast-moving environment.Experience within education, public sector or similarly regulated environments would be advantageous but is not essential.What's on OfferSalary circa £80,000 - £90,000 dependant on experience.Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.Opportunity to join an organisation experiencing sustained growth and transformation.Significant autonomy and influence within the executive leadership team.Enhanced wellbeing initiatives, including additional wellbeing days and employee support programmes.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
