Job Description

  • Provide clear, practical advice on employment tax matters including governance, off‑payroll workers, national minimum wage and reward.
  • Develop tailored solutions that address varied client needs, from large corporates to fast‑growth businesses.
  • Build and manage strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Oversee compliance with employment tax requirements and changes in legislation.
  • Lead, coach and support team members to build capability.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities and supporting proposals.
  • Collaborate nationally to deliver joined‑up services and stay updated on evolving tax rules.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Employment Tax Associate Director should have:

  • A strong background in Employment Tax, with awareness of Global Mobility issues and confidence handling more complex technical challenges.
  • CTA qualified (or equivalent), or able to demonstrate strong capability through substantial hands‑on experience in employment tax.
  • Someone who is open, approachable and genuinely collaborative, with the ability to listen, engage and build trusted working relationships.
  • Strong people‑leadership skills, with a focus on developing others, recognising potential and supporting the growth of the wider team.
  • A leader who embraces a "grow our own" mindset, keen to coach, mentor and help shape a high‑performing and inclusive team environment.
