Job Description



Reporting directly to the Group Operations Director, the Factory Manager will take full responsibility for site performance, strategic direction and leadership. This role will play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, team engagement and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent performance against site KPIs, customer requirements, and operational targets
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring teams are empowered and performance‑focused
  • Own and manage site budgets, identifying cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities
  • Implement, refine and embed robust operational processes
  • Lead and execute Capex projects and future site development plans
  • Champion the Health, Safety & Environmental agenda, ensuring all legal, internal and external standards are met
  • Provide inspirational leadership across Production, Engineering and Distribution, promoting collaboration, accountability and high performance

The Successful Applicant



The successful Factory Manager will demonstrate:

  • Proven leadership experience within FMCG manufacturing (food manufacturing experience advantageous)
  • Strong background in continuous improvement, with the ability to identify and implement operational enhancements
  • Sound financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and cost‑control initiatives
  • Excellent knowledge of HACCP, BRC, HSE and food safety standards
  • A results‑driven mindset, complemented by a hands‑on, visible leadership style
  • Engineering or technical background (desirable)
