Job Description

Finance Analyst responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience working in accounting or finance roles within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as spreadsheets and ERP systems.
  • A good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting principles.

  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in finance or accounting are advantageous.
