Finance Business Partner - 18m

We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team supporting a complex, operationally focused organisation undergoing significant transformation and investment.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with senior leaders and budget holders, providing the financial insight, challenge and support required to drive performance, manage risk and support informed decision-making.

You'll be a trusted advisor to operational stakeholders, helping to ensure financial targets are achieved while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and value for money.Reporting into a Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate management information, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis across key business areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing monthly management accounts, financial reports and insightful performance commentary.
• Leading annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow impacts.
• Building strong relationships with budget holders and senior operational stakeholders.
• Conducting regular financial review meetings and acting as the first point of contact for finance support.
• Supporting and challenging stakeholders through the preparation of business cases and investment decisions.
• Presenting financial performance, risks, opportunities and forecast variances to senior management teams.
• Identifying and delivering cost-saving opportunities, efficiencies and process improvements.
• Preparing reconciliations and reviewing financial commitments across assigned areas.
• Supporting year-end audit requirements and responding to auditor queries.
• Delivering ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
