We are looking for two Finance Business Partners to join a not-for-profit organisation in Manchester. This long term interim position requires expertise in accounting and finance to support key decision-making processes.

Job Description

  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate analysis of income, expenditure, and departmental budgets.
  • Monitor and control budgets, identifying efficiencies and contributing to procurement and expenditure plans.
  • Provide financial guidance and training to staff and budget holders, ensuring compliance with policies and procurement processes.
  • Generate financial reports, dashboards, supporting decision-making and financial oversight at all levels.
  • Support the year-end process, VAT returns, and audits, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining financial systems, cashflow forecasting, and payroll processes, ensuring effective financial management and contingency support.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance within a similar environment.
  • Happy to consider Part qualified, QBE and Qualified candidates
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a temporary role.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • A commitment to upholding the values of a not-for-profit organisation.
