Job Description

Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight, challenge and strategic support.

Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for a portfolio of departments.

Produce meaningful management information, financial analysis and business cases to support decision-making.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders, helping them maximise resources and achieve their objectives.

Drive process improvements, strengthen financial controls and support finance projects.

Analyse complex data sets and present clear, actionable recommendations.

The Successful Applicant

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).

Strong finance business partnering, budgeting and forecasting experience.

Proven ability to influence and challenge non-finance stakeholders.

Experience working in large, complex organisations.

Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI or TM1.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience partnering with highly technical or specialist professionals, such as engineers, scientists, researchers or similar groups.
