Employees often describe the environment as ambitious yet approachable, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact without the layers of bureaucracy often associated with larger corporate organisations.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:*Timely production and filing of statutory reports and returns ensuring compliance with relevant law and policies*Lead Finance representative in the development of the Group's finance IT system; Xero, to ensure an efficient integration with Omni, HR and payroll systems and Operational systems.*Perform risk management, in conjunction with Group Risk Manager, by analysing the organisation's liabilities and investments. and management of business insurance policies.*Timely production and distribution of Management Information (daily, weekly, monthly).*Comparison of actual performance versus budgeted / forecast, with variance analysis / KPI analysis*Ownership of the Group's financial planning, one-, three- and five-year plans.*Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organisation's operations - both short term and medium term.*Liaison with external professional advisors regarding any corporate finance related activities.*Line management and development of the Finance team ensuring level of resource has the appropriate level of knowledge, skills and capacity to support business needs*Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks - Treasury Management / short term investments / maximising returns whilst maintaining adequate cashflow.The Successful ApplicantACA / ACCA qualifiedA minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial management position with extensive experience in leading a finance team and overseeing a company's financial control and reporting activities.Experience within professional / financial services would be desirableStrong leadership qualities and communication skillsLive within a commutable radar to LeicesterWhat's on OfferThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career as Finance Director.
