Job Description

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and stability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
  • Provide financial insights to senior management for decision-making purposes.
  • Drive financial strategy, investment governance and commercial decision-making, ensuring that portfolio choices, innovation investments, pricing strategies and marketing effectiveness are aligned to business objectives and deliver sustainable financial outcomes
  • Review and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Director should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance and must come from an engineering background
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles within global organisations.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent business partnering skills and proven track record of partnering with cross function leads
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Salary range: £135,000 - £140,000, dependent on the level of experience.
