Finance Manager

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and actionable commentary.
• Produce board-ready financial packs including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs, and risk indicators.
• Support leadership ahead of board meetings by explaining results, forecasts, and financial implications.
• Own and deliver the monthly financial pack ensuring executive-level clarity and insight.
• Maintain rolling forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Build scenario-based financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Support the annual budgeting process with robust analysis.
• Actively manage collections performance and overdue balances.
• Support early payment incentives, late payment fee strategies, and pricing tools.
• Improve visibility and control over working capital and borrowing costs.
• Maintain integrity of the nominal ledger and financial postings.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
• Coordinate and respond to audit queries and prepare year-end schedules.
• Prepare statutory accounts and support year-end audit processes.
• Strengthen financial controls to support business growth.
