A growing organisation located in the Haywards Heath area are seeking a stand alone, sole charge Finance Manager.

Job Description

  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial statements to aid business planning.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns and other statutory filings.
  • Lead and support the finance team in daily operations and development.
  • Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards in the retail industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and developing a finance team.
