Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the organisation's financial transactions and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, providing regular financial updates to key stakeholders.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and receivable processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively.
  • Maintain financial systems and implement improvements as needed.
  • Lead and develop a small finance team to ensure high performance and accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • MUST HAVE A recognised accounting qualification or relevant degree.
  • MUST HAVE extensive hands on VAT experience
  • MUST be able to do 5 days on site in Dulwich
  • Proven experience in financial management within the not-for-profit sector or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
