Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Oversee reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors as required.
  • Produce accurate management information and financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across the business.
  • Monitor and strengthen financial controls, policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting and increase efficiency within the finance function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and managing audits.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
  • A professional accounting qualification or relevant degree.
