Job Description

  • Manage and optimise end-to-end record-to-report (R2R) processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial data and systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, ensuring adherence to best practices and internal policies.
  • Monitor and manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and financial regulations applicable to the property sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller - UK Operations should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in managing record-to-report processes within a similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (SAP) with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations, particularly within the property industry.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
