Job Description

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Review and improve financial controls, systems, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Provide strategic insights to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance profitability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Substantial experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
