Job Description

  • Prepare and review group consolidated financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Support the audit process, liaising with external auditors and resolving queries.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across the group to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Consolidation and Technical Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of group consolidation processes and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in the energy and natural resources industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
