Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of corporate tax compliance and reporting across the group.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise the organisation's tax position.
  • Provide expert advice on corporate tax matters to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and international tax regulations.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
  • Collaborate with external advisors to manage audits and tax-related queries.
  • Prepare and review tax computations and returns for submission to authorities.
  • Support the business with tax planning for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Corporate Tax Manager should have:

  • ACA / ACCA Preferred - Or CTA
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax and international tax principles.
  • Experience in managing corporate tax compliance and reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
  • Experience working within the life science industry is advantageous but not essential.
