Job Description

  • Lead financial planning and analysis to support housing initiatives and projects.
  • Providing strategic financial advice to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Preparing, review, and present detailed financial reports and forecasts.
  • Ensuring compliance with public sector financial regulations and policies.
  • Identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements within housing programmes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organisational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Business Partnering (Housing) will have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
  • Proven experience in financial management within the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of housing finance, HRA and related regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills to manage and develop a finance team.
