The brand is synonymous with the market they operate in and are poised for growth. Recently acquired, the business manufacture handcrafted bespoke products, provide hospitality and event services, and have retail operations.The business is embarking on a transformation programme to provide efficiencies, manage the cost base and ensure they continue to evolve their offering to the market. The business currently turnover ~£12million, grew in 2025, and are on course to deliver their 5 and 10 year plan.This is a hugely exciting time for the business and subsequently looking for a diligent Head of Finance to support the Managing Director in taking the business forward.Job DescriptionThe Head of Finance will be responsible for:Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organisation.Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring robust financial controls are in place.Collaborate with other departments to align financial objectives with business goals.Oversee tax planning, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to promote professional growth and performance excellence.The Successful ApplicantA successful Head of Finance should have:Professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.Proven experience in financial management within the manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-driven decisions.Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.Proficiency in financial software and systems.Handcrafting/Hand-made manufacturing would be a distinct advantageWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £90,000 per annum.Performance-based bonus scheme.Comprehensive benefits.Generous pension contributions.This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished finance professional to make a significant impact within the heritage manufacturing industry.
