Job Description

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support company goals.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Lead the preparation of annual accounts and liaise with external auditors.
  • Support business growth initiatives through financial analysis and planning.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial leadership within the energy and natural resources sector.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent skills in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience in managing and developing teams effectively.
  • The ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.
