Medway Interim £400 - £500 per day View Job Description
Reporting directly into the CFO, as FP&A Manager you will lead a small team and take responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and working with stakeholders to add commercial value. This is initially a 6 month role but could have the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

Job Description

Key responsibilities will include:

- Leading and completing the annual budgeting process, working closely with the business unit stakeholders to ensure plans for the following year are robust and accurate

- Running the monthly forecasting processes

- Developing and maintaining financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives

- Delivering analysis on month-end financial and operational results

- Monitoring KPIs and providing insights into performance drivers

- Analysing revenue, gross margins, operating expenses and working capital

- Managing a team of Finance Business Partners

The Successful Applicant

My client is looking for someone with the following experience:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

- Experience of producing budgets and forecasts at a high level

- Proven business partnering experience - creating and maintaining relationships with external and internal stakeholders and enabling finance to be at the forefront of the organisation

- Strong Excel ability

- Experience in a deadline driven environment

You must be a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative. Strong communication skills are essential for this role.You should be available to start this role by the end of October at the latest however immediately available candidates would be preferred.

What's on Offer

A day rate commensurate with experience, up to a maximum equivalent of £90,000

Hybrid - once up to speed within the role there are 2 days required in the office and 3 days from home
