The Head of Marketing role in the property industry requires someone who can be responsible for both devising a strategy and delivering and executing on this across a full range of marketing channels, with the objectives of raising brand awareness and visibility and generating quality leads and supporting business growth across the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will have experience in the built environment industry.

The company are a reputable, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, privately owned and operating across the UK and Europe.

They work across industries including industrial, records management, data centres and residential, delivering projects from inception to completion with a strong focus on relationships and outcomes.

They are looking to hire a Head of Marketing will be join the firm as the first marketing hire to drive brand awareness and growth for the firm.Role is based in central London.

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Head of Marketing role include:

1) Marketing Strategy & Planning

· Develop and deliver comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that enhance brand awareness and support growth.

· Align marketing priorities with the business plan in partnership with the Joint CEOs, SLT and professional teams.

· Maintain market insights - sector trends, competitor analysis and client needs to inform campaigns and positioning.

· Define annual/quarterly marketing roadmaps, messaging and channel plans.

2) Strategic Growth Enablement

· Coordinate marketing activity around target sectors, key clients and strategic initiatives.

· Support the creation of key account marketing plans, including tailored messaging, content and events.

· Provide marketing input into proposals where required to strengthen bid content.

3) Integrated Campaign Management

· Plan, create and oversee multi‑channel campaigns across digital, social, email, print and events.

· Collaborate with internal teams to support business development initiatives.

· Manage external suppliers/agencies to ensure quality, timeliness and ROI.

4) Content, Thought Leadership & Storytelling

· Develop high‑quality content, including thought leadership, case studies, sector insights and client communications.

· Build and manage a content calendar for use across multiple channels.

5) Digital Marketing & Website Ownership

· Oversee the company websites and social channels, ensuring content is current, engaging and SEO‑aware.

· Strengthen digital performance through analytics reporting and optimisation.

· Implement consistent tracking dashboards for web traffic and content performance.

6) Brand & Reputation Management

· Act as brand guardian across all materials and communications.

· Build relationships with industry partners, influencers and media to enhance visibility.

· Implement a light‑touch reputation management approach to include PR opportunities, awards submissions and agreed risk response processes.

7) Communications (Internal & External)

· Manage the marketing page of the intranet to improve communication across the group.

· Develop an internal communications plan (highlights, wins, new starters, project stories, capability updates).

· Ensure internal and external communications are aligned and reinforce strategic priorities.

8) Events & Relationship Marketing

· Coordinate attendance at industry events and manage event branding and collateral.

· Support post‑event follow‑up activity (email, content, meetings).

· Support the development of targeted "owned events" such as round tables, webinars or briefings.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Marketing should have:

· 10+ years' experience in a broad marketing role with a proven track record of delivering campaigns and measurable impact.

· Comfortable operating strategically and hands-on in a senior standalone role.

· Strong writing, editing, and stakeholder management skills; confident advising senior leaders.

· Demonstrable data-driven approach: campaign measurement, reporting, and insights.

· Budget and supplier management experience.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

· CIM Diploma (or equivalent).

· Experience in construction, consultancy, project management, or broader professional services.

· Strong understanding of digital marketing (SEO, email, social) and modern tools/platforms (CRM familiarity beneficial).

· PR/reputation management experience (including awards and media engagement).
