Job Description

The role of Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency.
  • Manage procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective supplier relationships.
  • Oversee logistics and inventory management to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor and analyse supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead and support a team within the supply chain department.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain goals with business objectives.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for supply chain operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Supply Chain should have:

  • Proven expertise in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve supply chain performance.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements within the business services industry.
  • Confidence in managing budgets and supplier negotiations.
  • Experience of working within the FMCG sectors
  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams
