Job Description

  • Handle a caseload of housing disrepair claims from inception to resolution.
  • Provide advice and guidance on housing disrepair matters to clients.
  • Draft and review documents, including statements of case and witness statements.
  • Conduct negotiations and settlements with landlords or their representatives.
  • Attend court hearings and represent clients when required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Stay informed on housing disrepair legislation and developments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Housing Disrepair Solicitor should have at least 5 years experience in housing disrepair law. Please note the level of experience in this advert is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying.
