Michael Page are delighted to partner with a leading manufacturing business based in Solihull with the appointment of a HR Advisor to join a fast-paced and busy HR team.

Due to the nature of this sector, this role is a fully-office based role.

Job Description

The role of HR Advisor is a busy, fast-paced, generalist role, supporting a Senior HR Business Partner and working across a wide range of stakeholders at this busy manufacturing site.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Support the continuous improvement, implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures within the organisation.
  • Support with recruitment processes
  • Assist in performance management and appraisals to ensure employee development and alignment with company goals.
  • Assist with organisational changes
  • Prepare HR data and KPIs to support strategic decision making
  • Up-skill management capability to deal with people matters promptly
  • Support with various HR projects and initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Ideally you will hold or be studying towards CIPD Level 5
  • You will be comfortable working in a busy, paced paced environment
