Job Description

  • Provide expert advice to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support and coach managers on employee relations, including performance, discipline, and grievance matters
  • Analyse HR data (e.g. absence, turnover) and guide managers to take action based on trends and insights
  • Lead and support HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and company policies, proactively managing risks
  • Support recruitment, employee development, training, and succession planning activities
  • Manage HR administration, reporting, data accuracy, and HR systems effectively
  • Promote employee wellbeing, equal opportunities, and effective performance management across the business
  • Uphold company values, health & safety standards, and contribute to a modern, efficient HR approach across sites

The Successful Applicant

A successful HRBP should have:

  • A strong educational background in human resources, business management, or a related field in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Have previously worked with Unions.
  • Proven experience in a similar HR business partner role within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Experience in talent management, employee relations, and organisational development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
