Job Description

The HSE Manager will provide visible, hands‑on leadership across site operations, driving excellence in safety culture, environmental compliance and quality standards. The role leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, ISO standards and internal best practice. You will work closely with operational leadership, guide teams through behavioural and cultural change, manage contractor safety, and lead investigations, audits and performance reporting.

The Successful Applicant

The succesful HSE Manager will posses a range of the following:

  • A strong and demonstrable Health & Safety background, with experience delivering campaigns across occupational safety, behavioural and cultural improvement, and high-standards housekeeping-led HSE.
  • The ability to influence, challenge and engage stakeholders at all levels, adapting communication style to suit a business with increasing HSEQ maturity.
  • Proven capability working across operational or industrial plant environments.
  • Solid understanding of CDM regulations and contractor management.
  • Experience in leading incident investigations, audits, risk assessments and delivering actionable insights from data.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (minimum) and strong working knowledge of ISO management systems.
  • Strong presentation, communication and relationship‑building skills, with the confidence to act as an HSEQ ambassador across the site.
